The ability to transform someone's look and lift their spirits has been incredibly fulfilling ever since.
How would you describe your personal style as a hairdresser?
I specialise in creating timeless, elegant hairstyles that celebrates each client’s unique style. I'm passionate about working with curly and wavy textures, a skill I began developing as a young apprentice styling my mother’s hair.
If you could style the hair of any celebrity, past or present, who would it be?
Julia Roberts, beautiful hair and an amazing smile.
What’s the go-to product/tool you can’t live without?
Morrocan Oil Curl Cream is a beautiful product for most curly or wavy hair.
What do you enjoy most about working with clients at your Cheynes salon?
I love seeing the joy on my clients' faces when they leave feeling more confident and refreshed. Helping people feel good about themselves is truly rewarding.
Who are your style icons, or sources of creative inspiration?
I find inspiration all around me. Different cultures, trends, and everyday life. I’m especially excited for my upcoming trip to Japan, where I hope to discover fresh ideas and unique styles.
Favourite thing about working in your Cheynes Salon?
My favorite thing about working in our salon is the incredible team, which combines youthful energy with seasoned expertise. The atmosphere is both professional and welcoming, creating a space where clients and staff alike feel comfortable and valued. It’s a pleasure to be part of such a supportive and talented group.
How are you spending an ideal day off in Edinburgh?
I love spending my day off with my wife and son, often cheering him on at the running track or rugby field. Being there to support him brings me so much joy and makes my day complete.
